Hi,

Since I last emailed you we've all been left reeling from the loss of Paul Sartin.

Thank you so much to all of you who came along to the Bellowhead tour - despite everything it was an amazing experience and it was particularly wonderful to be able to hear Paul's voice every night and to say goodbye to him with you all.

Just before he died I was about to announce a Remnant Kings tour for Feb 2023. As you probably know Paul has been part of the Remnant Kings for over a decade and, as with Bellowhead, it will not be the same without him.

However I'm pleased to say that Sally Hawkins (oboe/violin) has agreed to come along on the tour so we're going to go ahead with it and I'm really looking forward to getting out on the road agin with this amazing band. Very different to Bellowhead of course! But a really special group of musicians to work with. Here's a video of the last time we played together before Paul died:

So five gigs in February with the Remnant Kings - nothing down south I'm afraid!
